From Dark & Gloomy to Fresh & Bright

This space had two things working against it: a deep brown accent wall and a yellow-peach tone that made the room feel heavy. The homeowners wanted lighter, cleaner, and more cohesive—something that would work with their white trim, shutters, and natural light.

We tackled the living room and upper hallway together so the colour flows from the stairs into the seating area. The dark accent wall was primed first to block the darker tone before we laid on the grey.

The peach walls put up a fight. After two full coats, some colour was still peeking through, so we added a third coat to nail a consistent finish. That extra coverage pushed the project by about two hours, but the end result is even and clean across the entire space.
