Siding Repaint – Modern Contrast for a Brick Two-Storey
This home had solid red brick on the main level and tired brown siding above it. The owners wanted more contrast and a stronger curb appeal, so we shifted the upper storey to a deep blue-grey that works with the brick instead of blending into it.
We started with a full exterior TSP wash to remove oxidation and dirt, then took down the downspouts to paint them separately. After dry time, we did two coats of Dulux Diamond Exterior Paint in a satin finish.
The change is immediate. The darker siding sharpens the roofline, frames the windows, and gives the brick a richer tone. From the patio and the back fence line you can see the house looks taller and more finished.
