Fresh Stain = Fresh Start.
This was a fun one! The before photos show how dirty this deck was and the wear and tear on the actual stain (pretty common after a long Canadian winter.). But after a pressure wash, some heavy sanding, and 2 coats of solid stain, this deck looks amazing!
In the first two pictures you can see just how dirty this deck really was. We had to spend extra time pressure washing in order to get all that dirt and grime gone before we could sand or stain. It’s crucial to make sure the wood you’re staining is completely clean, any trapped bacteria can cause the stain to peel or fail much sooner. Overall this job took about 20 hours of hard work and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
